Quick Summary: SquatCount respects your privacy. We don't collect personal data, don't sell information, and store everything locally on your device. We only use anonymized crash data to improve the app.

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
SquatCount stores the following information locally on your device:
- Habit Data: Your exercise habits, sets, reps, and completion history
- Settings: App preferences and notification settings
- Training Data: Your squat counts and workout statistics
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
1.2 Anonymized Crash Data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized crash reports to improve app stability:
- App crashes and error logs (no personal information)
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and usage patterns
This data is anonymized and cannot identify you personally.
1.3 Device Permissions
SquatCount may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: To send daily exercise reminders (only if you enable them)
- Motion & Fitness: To count your squats using the accelerometer
You can disable these permissions at any time in your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Local Data Usage
- Display your exercise progress and statistics
- Track your daily habits and streaks

We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Crashlytics: For anonymized crash reporting (Google)
- Apple App Store: For app distribution (if you download from App Store)
These services have their own privacy policies and only receive anonymized data.

- All your data is stored locally on your device
- We use industry-standard encryption for crash data transmission
- No personal information is transmitted over the internet
- Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features

- Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data
- Crash Data: Anonymized crash reports are retained for up to 90 days for analysis

You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: View all your data within the app
- Delete: Clear all app data using the "Delete All Data" option in Settings
- Export: Your data is stored locally and can be backed up through your device
- Opt-out: Disable crash reporting in device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements)
7. Children's Privacy
SquatCount is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on the device, parents can monitor their children's usage directly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Including a notice in the app for significant changes
Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. App Store Privacy Labels
For transparency, here's how SquatCount appears in App Store privacy labels:
- Data Not Collected: Name, Email, Phone, Physical Address, User Content, Search History, Browsing History, Identifiers, Usage Data, Diagnostics
- Crash Data: Anonymized crash logs (not linked to user identity)
- Device Motion: Used for squat counting (processed locally)
